Step 1

PACK THE SAFE

Place the Family Tree and the $20 Bill with the three red Xs into the Safe. Close the Safe and seal it with tape, then spin the Safe dials so the solution is not visible. We recommend pointing all arrows to the zero.

Step 2

TAPE THE SAFE AND CORKBOARD

Tape the Corkboard to the back wall at the height shown, leaving enough room for the File Cabinet to sit underneath it.

Tape the Safe underneath the Corkboard, high enough so that it will be completely covered by the Corkboard. Tape the bottom of the Corkboard to the wall, so that it completely covers the Safe.

Step 3

RESET THE HEXAFLEXAGON

Tip: To flatten the Concrete Shoes and make your previous folds less visible to the next players, we recommend folding backwards and forwards along all lines. Additionally, you can set the hexaflexagon under a heavy object overnight.

To reset the hexaflexagon, follow the same movements you used to solve the puzzle. The shortest reset path is below.

Step 4

TAPE THE WINDOW BLINDS AND HEXAFLEXAGON

Tape the Window Blinds to the back wall, completely covering the view of the dock.

Tape the Concrete Shoes hexaflexagon to the floor, covering the instruction graphic on the floor.

Step 5

PACK THE PURSE

Place the five Arrow Puzzle Pieces into the small resealable bag, then seal the bag. Place the bag into the Purse, then close the purse.

Step 6

PACK THE WAREHOUSE PUZZLE

Place the nine Warehouse Puzzle Pieces into the large resealable bag. Seal the bag.

Step 7

PACK THE CLOSET

Place Angelica, the Purse, and the Warehouse Puzzle into the closet. Angelica must be in front. Tape the Closet closed.

Step 8

HIDE THE PHOTOS IN THE DESK

Place the two black & white Photos into the Desk drawer, with the images face down. This is so they will be visible to players who look underneath the drawer.

Note: It is not necessary to remove the desk from the floor. The image is for instruction only.

Step 9

PACK MICKEY’S ENVELOPE

Place the Informant Puzzle, Note with account numbers, Ring Box, and Ring into Mickey’s Envelope. Close the envelope.

Step 10

TAPE MICKEY’S ENVELOPE

Tape Mickey’s Envelope to the floor. Make sure the folder (with the three dots) is still visible next to Mickey’s Envelope. Also make sure folder 87 is still visible underneath the desk.

Step 11

PACK THE BOOKCASE

Place the four remaining $20 Bills (none with three red Xs) into the Bookcase. Close the Bookcase.

Step 12

PACK THE FILE CABINET

Place the Notepaper into the File Cabinet. Close both the front flap of the File Cabinet and the top of the File Cabinet.

Step 13

PACK THE WATERCOOLER

Place the three Watercooler Puzzle Pieces into the Watercooler. Close the Watercooler.

Step 14

PACK THE WHITE STORAGE BOX

Spin the Solution Wheel so the final solution is no longer visible. Place the sliding tab in the lock position to close the windows on the Wheel.

Place the File Cabinet, Bookshelf, Bookcase, and Solution Wheel into the white storage box. Close the storage box and slide it into the cardboard insert.

Step 15

PACK THE BOX

Release the roof and walls from the Box and fold the roof and walls in so that they are all at right angles with the back wall. Secure the tabs at the top and bottom of the walls in place.

Place the insert tray and Story & Instruction Booklet into the box. Raise the floor of the box to close the box shut.
