Escape the Room: The Cursed Dollhouse can be played in two difficulty modes. Both modes include all of the same puzzles, and all of the same solutions. The key difference between the two versions is the number of clues written into the story.
BEGINNER-INTERMEDIATE

AVERAGE PLAYTIME: 90-150 minutes

Recommended for players who:
- Have not played a ThinkFun Escape the Room game
- Played the Stargazer’s Manor (Difficulty: 1/5) and/or Dr. Gravely’s Retreat (Difficulty: 2/5) and enjoyed the challenge level
- Enjoy narrative with more clues about how to solve each puzzle
- Some of these clues will be bolded, but there will also be important unbolded clues.
- There will also be important visual clues found within the house and its components.
ADVANCED-EXPERT

AVERAGE PLAYTIME: 120-180 minutes
PLAY WITH PRINTED STORY BOOKLET ENCLOSED WITH THE GAME
Recommended for players who:
- Played the Stargazer’s Manor (Difficulty: 1/5) and/or Dr. Gravely’s Retreat (Difficulty: 2/5) and are now looking for the ultimate escape room challenge
- Enjoy carefully examining visuals and uncovering small, but very important text clues (unbolded) to determine each puzzle objective and how the solutions to those puzzles will be used.
