Whether you’re a Tween, a self-proclaimed Geek or a puzzle pro, you’re going to get fired up over ThinkFun’s new Laser Maze™, the first logic game with a real laser!

Designed for ages 8 to adult and played solo, Laser Maze inspires you to beam, bend and split a laser to light up your target on a game grid. To play, choose one of 60 challenge cards from beginner to expert and set up your tokens as indicated. Tap into your logic skills to assess how to add and position a double-sided mirror, a checkpoint, a blocker or other tokens to direct the laser light to the target and solve the puzzle.

Laser Maze is the brainchild of Luke Hooper, inventor of the popular chess-like laser game Khet, and features challenges by four-time World Puzzle Champion, Wei-Hwa Huang. In addition to logical deduction, Laser Maze builds visual perception as well as thinking skills related to physics, geometry, and reasoning.

Laser Maze debuted in February at the American International Toy Fair where The Game Aisle declared it evidence of the “Year of the Geek,” toy expert Stephanie Oppenheim imagined it as a toy befitting George Jetson and Luke Skywalker, and Parenting Magazine named it “Best in Play.” Laser Maze is also a nominated “Best Toy for Kids” by the American Specialty Toy Retailing Association.
