TIPOVER® Nominated for 2006 T.O.T.Y. Award

ThinkFun Inc., the leading creator of mind-challenging games, is pleased to announce that TIPOVER® has been nominated for a Toy Industry Association, Inc. (TIA) Toy of the Year (T.O.T.Y.) Award, one of the most prestigious honors in the industry. TIPOVER, along with four other finalists, is up for the coveted award in the “Specialty Toy of the Year” category.

The T.O.T.Y. Awards are designed to honor the ingenuity, success and playful character of the toy industry by rewarding the best toys developed by the international toy industry for consumers in North America. Members of the industry nominate any product that they think is worthy of a T.O.T.Y. award and then the nominations committee, comprised of toy journalists, toy inventors, TIA board members and major retailers, review all nominated product and vote for the products to be nominated on the final ballot. The ballot is then distributed and voted upon by TIA member companies.

TIPOVER® is a three-dimensional multi-level challenge game that encourages players to test their sequential thinking, spatial relationships, strategy and problem solving skills. The object of the game is to move the red tipper piece from its’ designated starting position to the red ‘home’ crate without touching the game board floor. Players move the red tipper from crate-to-crate by tipping over crates of varying size to create a linear path to the final destination. TIPOVER is for ages 8 and up and has a MSRP of $15.99.
